Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents in honor of the town where she grew as a child. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father came from an ethnically Jewish family Ryder believes she is Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents relocated her and their children into Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. The family didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid read and often spent her time reading books as she had no television. Ryder was enrolled in acting classes when Ryder was twelve years old, and was enrolled in classes at the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 which was her first big part. Ryder was just 15 when she got it. Ryder was bullied in high school. Her performing career, she thought that it would aid her. Unfortunately, that did not happen. But she continued to pursue her dream. Her breakthrough came in 1988 with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder played roles that were successful in various films. In 1993 she won an Academy Prize for The Age of Innocence.
